If you’re a senior HR leader, you’re the conscience of your company. You protect the business AND the people — often without acknowledgment for either. You carry weight in ways few others see.
And you’re probably really good at taking care of everyone except yourself.
Gayle Hayhurst and I have both been there. We’ve sat in those rooms, made those calls, held those tensions. And somewhere along the way, we both started wondering: who takes care of us?
So we’re building something we wish had existed — a retreat for senior women in HR. A few days to set it down. To be taken care of instead of doing the taking care of. To talk honestly with peers who understand the weight. To reconnect — to yourself, to others, and to why you chose this work in the first place.
No 360s. No heavy development agendas. Just space, conversation, coaching, and good food with women who get it.

A bit about us: Gayle is a former CHRO with 30+ years leading HR at General Mills, Best Buy, and Schwan’s. I spent my career in talent and leadership, and now work with leadership teams at growth-stage companies. We’ve both carried this weight — and we’re building the retreat we needed.
If this sounds like something you need, DM me or Gayle on LinkedIn. Or if you know someone this would be perfect for, please send this along.
