𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲: When you’re trying to find your year-end motivation,
and you know it’s there somewhere,
and you keep digging,
but it’s just not surfacing …

…and you finally give up due to distraction.

That’s ok. Give yourself some grace. You’ve been working hard all year and you 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘢𝘭π˜₯ take a breather.

Not getting your 2023 year-end review and 2024 look-ahead done this week?

That’s ok. It’ll be there next week.

Thought you’d get a bunch of solo work done while it was quiet, keeping your nose to the grindstone, but couldn’t quite harness the gumption?

That’s ok too. Your brain will be fresher next week.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always put so much pressure on myself to get π˜€π—Ό π—Ίπ˜‚π—°π—΅ 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

95% of the time, it doesn’t happen. In the past, I beat myself up.

Not anymore. It’s okay to take a breath and soak in the calendar change on an energetic level.

It will all be there next week.

So, friends, what is π˜†π—Όπ˜‚π—Ώ distraction this week? A book? TV series? Activity? –I’d love to hear how you’re enjoying the last week of the year!

(Mine has been the book Fourth Wing, getting outside to enjoy the snow, and planning for a trip to Turkey in the spring.) Happy New Year 2024!

PS – The video was taken yesterday when my husband and I were able to carve out a weekday to avoid the ski traffic crowds and go snowshoeing. Our pup, Olive, is half St Bernard. She loves to dig in the snow, probably on instinct, but I wouldn’t count on her to save us. Too easily distracted.
