Every time I hear someone in my field of team coaching and facilitation, including myself, say that we need to “create the container for the work,” this is what I picture.
Every. Single. Time.
The phrase is an accurate representation of what we do, yet it sounds so ostentatious.
I have to admit that without AI I never could have gotten the cartoon bubble out of my head and on to the screen. Not it’s highest and best use, I’m aware.
I did not include in the prompt to make them all look sad. AI did that on its own. What is it telling me?
(It also made them all relatively short. Is the message that you need to be compact to fit in the container that’s created? Tall leaders not welcome?)
The other saying I want an image of is “growing leaders.” That way of decribing leadership development always has made me twitchy, as I imagine a bunch of leaders sprouting from a flower pot.
Nothing serious about leaders or teams today. Just Tupperware-based absurdity.
